Wilson Air Center aims to provide the very best service to all customers, and Pam Coates is the perfect embodiment of that mission statement. Pam has been at Wilson Air Center Chattanooga for 13 years, and during her tenure, she has become a fixture that all pilots expect to see when landing. You can find Pam doing anything from rolling out the red carpet to fixing Moon Pie sundaes. With her level of dedication, it is no surprise that our customers recognized Pam as going “Above & Beyond” by Aviation International News’ FBO Survey and voted her as the 2^nd Best CSRs in the US in Professional Pilot’s PRASE Survey.

Pam and the entire Wilson Air Center – Chattanooga team work together to make sure that any and every need a customer has is taken care of. She recalls a time when a pilot needed an epaulet to fly, so she sewed one for him. Taking the time to care about customers and build relationships with them is key. However, Pam states that taking care of details can be just as important as the large requests: “I try to pay attention to small things, even to check in on pilots and see if they want a cup of coffee. My priority is to make all requests come true.”

The difference is in the details since Wilson Air Center – Chattanooga was voted the #1 Best FBO in the country for two years in a row in 2020 and 2021. And this year pilots voted the Chattanooga crew in the Top 10% of US FBOs in AIN’s survey and as the 2^nd Best FBO in The US in Professional Pilot’s PRASE Survey.
